I have always thought that food is something to celebrate. The idea of it has been lost to many people over the years. With our busy schedules and longer work days, eating out or grabbing something quick became the norm as opposed to a special occasion. 

For me, going out to enjoy a meal has always been a celebration and I've taken that passion and put it into preparing something wonderful in my own kitchen. I prefer the latter of course, simply because I can control the consistency of each dish that's served as well as the company you keep. Luckily, I'm not alone in my adoration of an exceptional meal and the interest in cooking at home is back on the rise. 

Heck, as the world becomes a much smaller planet, you can have vanilla beans you ordered from Madagascar, at your doorstep the very next day!
